Simple Marriage Therapy

Simple Marriage Therapy was founded by Dr. Corey Allan in 2002 and seeks to assist couples and individuals in living fully alive.

The choice to change things going on in your life and in turn yourself is a big step in the process of reaching and surpassing your relationship’s and one’s own potential. I want to assist, empower, and encourage you as you journey toward removing the “ceiling” of your potential and experience relationships that you control without them controlling you.

There are many things that get in the way of the life and marriage we want to live. By discovering the natural processes of relationships, you can begin to harness the energy already there in order to have the marriage you may not have thought possible.

To schedule your first appointment with me, please call (214) 629-6133 and I will help you get started with the process. You can also email me –

Existing clients can schedule a session via the button in the sidebar.

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Professional Life and Relationship Coach.  I have a license issued from the Texas State Board of Marriage and Family Therapists, #200944, and the Texas LPC Board, #18693. I also am a Texas Board Approved Supervisor for both LMFT and LPC. I’ve been married to my wife for over 20 years, have a daughter and a son.

Face to face counseling services:

Working with couples to assist each member of the relationship in “growing themselves” up. “Nobody’s ready for marriage – marriage makes you ready for marriage.” (David Schnarch, Passionate Marriage)

A bulk of the clients I work with are couples. The best option if you are in the midst of marital crisis or chronic issues have come to a boiling point is to schedule a Two Hour Couple’s Session. Therapy is dramatically more effective when we have the time to really address what’s going on.

Couples therapy intensives:

This is a great option for couples wanting a more time-effective, intensive therapy approach. Through a series of closely spaced sessions, there are advantages traditional weekly sessions can not match. This option can help couples change entrenched ways of relating and speed the process of growing one’s “self” up. Typically occurring Wednesday thru Friday, morning or afternoon. Click here for more information.

Christian/Spiritual Counseling:

Incorporating God and His Word into the life of the family as a way to increase the purpose and direction of life.

Working with men who long to discover their Brave Heart and live a life that is more alive.

Don’t live in the north Dallas area?

You can either come to Dallas for a Couple’s Therapy Intensive or I work with people via webcam or phone.

All you need to have is access to a computer with a webcam, a decent Internet connection (DSL or better), and a location in your own home or office where you won’t be interrupted during your sessions.

An important note however, due to various state license differences, sessions with me via the web will not be considered counseling (unless you reside within the state of Texas). Your sessions will be considered coaching/consulting.

This is still a great option. You and your spouse can schedule a time and work with me from the comfort of your own home.

Rates and payment options for coaching.

“Are video conference sessions confidential?” Yep. The video conference tools we use are secure. Meaning it meets all the required standards of a face-to-face session.
How does meeting online work? It’s the same process as meeting face to face. You’ll get some paperwork to complete before we meet (which can be filled out on your computer then emailed back), we set up an appointment time, then at your scheduled time we each get in front of our computer in a place with no distractions and meet. If you’re working with me as a couple, you will sit together in front of a computer and meet with me.
